sorry it’s been a while

So kurtis and I are sitting in our Old Testament History class…it’s about as exciting as it sounds. Sorry that I have been slacking on my blog writing, between thanksgiving, halo 3, and school I stayed pretty busy this past week (:

Something old in my life has become something new. I’m not 100% sure if its a good thing or not, but it feels really good. It was like a piece of me has been missing the past 6 months. I’ve determined that my perspective is very limited. I am trying hard to “let go and let God”. I am rereading a book that really inspired me last time I read it, it’s called I am not but I know I Am (referring to the Great I Am). Last night when I was reading Louie mentioned a phrase several times that really stuck with me… “Look up.” Not that I believe that God is some super-hero, fairy-tale in the clouds, but something so simple struck me so hard. When I don’t understand something the beauty is, God does and usually is willing to share that with me if I look to Him for those answers.

I am battling with a very simple yet important concept, loving other Christians. Maybe its because the majority of Christians are cynical, cold-hearted hypocrites… or maybe I’m the hypocrite after all. All I know is, every time I open the scriptures its the only thing I hear on my heart and I want that to change.

1 John 2:9-11

“9Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. 10Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. 11But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.”

I have a nail in my tire, it sucks. I’m at goodyear getting it fixed…

So here’s a tip… don’t rob a bank. I’m sitting on I75 and every lane of traffic is blocked while the police march around with machine guns looking for the robber. This is pretty exciting, my dad called and told me he sees my car on the news. If this is my 15 minutes of fame I’m gona be pissed. Haha anyways watch the news and you’ll see my car
